Hi. I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. To find out more about me please visit my profile. I was just diagnosed with a form of R.P. that is supposed to progress very slowly. I just recently learned to use the computer so I could get on the Internet and do research to find out more about my condition than my doctor was willing or able to tell me. I also just moved to Ohio from the South. So I am getting used to a lot of new things all at the same time. I hope to meet lots of people here.

hey and wellcome to the zone! We're usually pretty nice bunch here. I'm sorry to hear about your vision problems, but I'm sure you will be ok. I myself am completely blind, and have been since birth. If ya want to chat, just send me a pm or qn, and I would be more than happy to!

Thanks all of you. I just know I will find the support I need here. So far I still have 20/20 vision but have been warned there are problems coming. My condition was caught during a yearly routine eye exam so I haven't actually started losing vision yet.

Well Angel and Devil, I have already had the privilege of talking to you before checking out this board. I have been totally blind from birth so, although I might not be the best one to talk to about the whole losing your sight later in life thing, still feel free to drop me a note or whatever. I'll help out as best I can. Hey, you can use me to talk about stuff not necessarily related to being or going blind if you want to take a break from it even.
